Hi, my name is Camelia Vasiliu. I am 37 years old. I live in Bucharest, Romania and I am a kindergarten teacher. My husband, Paul Vasiliu, and I wrote a fiction novel: The Scorpions. My husband is a graduated historian who wasn’t on his first writing experience, but for me it was a beautiful and exciting journey through a completely new life experience that taught me to enjoy life, trust myself and understand that one should never stop dreaming big. After years and years of searching, this journey’s destination was a novel I invite you to enjoy, letting yourself carried through it’s keep-you-on-the-edge-of-the-seat story.
The Scorpions novel invites you to go through a fantastic journey of adventures, history, romance, espionage and suspense tangled in mystery through and through. Follow the story of a dynasty starting its journey at the beginning of World War II and ends in the present days. The members of our focal family are constantly trying to fulfill their life’s mission, survive the war and its aftermath, carrying a torch on behalf of the regular citizen, tiptoeing the fine line between upholding the law and personal justice.
We published this novel in our home country, Romania, both in Romanian and in English. It is our utmost wish to see our passion project promoted and fulfill its cinematic potential.Just as Stan Lee created Spider Man or the Hulk, some artists from Eastern Europe created the Scorpion Man, having behind them a wonderful literary story but also an excellent business recipe.
