MainSource Bank was a community-focused regional bank headquartered in Greensburg, Indiana. It operated as a subsidiary of MainSource Financial Group, Inc., with more than 90 branch locations across Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Illinois.
MainSource built its reputation on personalized community banking, offering a wide range of retail, business, and mortgage banking services. Its tagline was often associated with “providing a better banking experience with a local touch.”
In April 2018, MainSource Bank merged with First Financial Bank, N.A., which is part of First Financial Bancorp (headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio). After the merger, all MainSource branches were rebranded under the First Financial Bank name, but many former customers and communities still refer to it as MainSource due to its long-standing local presence.
