Some time ago I purchased the DVD set of Space Above and Beyond (NTSC) on five double sided discs. Having seen the series in the past, I was enjoying it again.
Until I reached that final disc (second side). The disc wasn’t recognised. I was using a 4K Blu-ray player. I tried it in a Blu-ray recorder, a PS5 and a PC running windows 11 without success. On the PC, I couldn’t even open the disc. The surface looked great, without and scratches or blemishes.
I looked on eBay for a cheap replacement. To my surprise, someone was selling disc five on its own. I placed the order and when it arrived, it behaved exactly the same as my existing on.
This is strange. Was there a problem with the original release? Is a working disc available?
