Bank of Baroda (BoB) is India’s third-largest public sector bank (after SBI and PNB) and one of the most globally recognized Indian banks. It was founded on 20 July 1908 in Baroda, Gujarat by the visionary ruler Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III.
Headquartered in Vadodara, Gujarat (corporate office in Mumbai), BoB became much larger in 2019 after merging with Dena Bank and Vijaya Bank. The bank today serves over 150 million customers with a vast presence across 9,500+ branches and 13,000+ ATMs in India.
